The building towering above the tour bus is the restaurant of the service station.

At 10.30ish John & I met The LCG on the outskirts of Rome. To avoid the tour bus having to enter & navigate the town itself, a scenario of terror, congestion & delay, both parties shuttled here independently. The LCG operations would not have been possible without Allesandro & Roberto. From here on, we travel & hotel together. We have been joined by the Tour Manager who works for out national promoter.

The bus is a Mighty Bull Tour Bus I…

This is not a Green Room where the Team meet, nor where we mingle with guests. It is the name given to this room on this floor. It is referred to as a Matrimonial Room, or what in the US would be called King/Queen Size: one large bed, rather than two singles (a Double Room).

A lobby call at 19.00 with the Team & Tour Manager for anyone who would like a walk to the place of tomorrow’s performance, outdoor in the Piazza Prampolini.

23.03  We walked the 1000 metres to the centre of town & the Piazza. The stage is unbuilt. The Tour Manager promises it will be built in time. This is reassuring: this was an impossible feat in Rome for KC in 1982 & the performance cancelled. But our Tour Manager knows the people doing the work, so no probs here.

Then to dinner around off the piazza, at the restaurant where the Team will be dining after tomorrow’s show. A most enjoyable, slow, Italian dining experience with good food. The toast was proposed:

A common aim is closer than blood.
May we wish for each other what we wish for ourselves.

In conversation with Sr. Nunez, possibilities began presenting themselves.
